Job Title
UX Designer
Company Overview
[Company Name] is a [product-led SaaS / digital agency / e-commerce / fintech] company building [brief product description]. Our design team of [X] designers is responsible for the end-to-end user experience across [web / mobile / enterprise software], and we are expanding to support [new product area / growth stage].
About the Role
We are looking for a UX Designer to own the design of [product area / feature set] from research through delivery. You will collaborate directly with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Analysts to create experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and measurably effective. This is an [individual contributor / senior IC] role reporting to the [Design Manager / Head of Design].
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX design for [product area] — from discovery research and problem definition through wireframes, prototypes, and final engineering handoff
- Conduct user research using qualitative methods (interviews, usability testing, contextual inquiry) to uncover unmet needs and validate design decisions
- Translate research insights into clear problem statements, user flows, journey maps, and design principles
- Create wireframes and interactive prototypes at appropriate fidelity levels for testing and stakeholder alignment
- Partner with Product Managers to align UX work to business outcomes and quarterly OKRs
- Contribute to and evolve the design system — components, patterns, tokens — ensuring consistency across the product
- Collaborate with engineers during implementation to ensure fidelity between design and shipped product
- Use quantitative data (analytics, session recordings, A/B test results) alongside qualitative research to validate and iterate
- Facilitate design critiques, cross-functional reviews, and design thinking workshops with stakeholders
- Champion accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and inclusive design practices across all work
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of UX design experience in a product-led or digital environment, with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end process
- Proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, variants, prototyping, dev mode handoff)
- Experience conducting user research — recruitment, moderated testing, synthesis — not just consuming research done by others
- Ability to work within and contribute to a design system at scale
- Strong communication skills — ability to present design rationale clearly to non-designers and senior stakeholders
- Familiarity with analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, FullStory, Hotjar) to inform data-driven design decisions
Nice to Have
- Experience designing for [mobile iOS / Android, enterprise SaaS, consumer apps, or B2B dashboards]
- Proficiency in motion design (Principle, Lottie, After Effects) for micro-interactions
- Background in content strategy or UX writing
- Certification in accessibility (CPACC or equivalent) or direct WCAG audit experience
What We Offer
- Salary: $90,000–$120,000 depending on experience and portfolio strength
- Annual professional development budget of $3,000 for courses, tools, and design conferences
- Full health, dental, and vision benefits; 401(k) with 4% company match
- Flexible remote / hybrid schedule with [X] in-person collaboration days per month
- Access to the latest design tooling, a strong design community, and meaningful product ownership
Salary Range
$90,000–$120,000 base (US 2026 benchmark); senior UX designers at leading tech companies earn $130,000–$165,000
